A
10-day international film festival
is slated to be held in Chennai from
December 17th. This film festival
is being held under the auspices of
the Tamil Nadu state government. The
event will kick off at 6 pm on December
17th at the Kamarajar Arangam. Thirty-six
countries are participating in this
festival. The Tamil films that will
be showcased are
Anjathe, Kanchivaram, Poo and Subramaniapuram.
All the films at the international film festival
will be screened at the Woodlands Symphony
Theatre and the Film Chamber Theatre. Tamil
Nadu state ministers Stalin and Paruthi Ilamvazhuthi
will participate in this festival. This was
disclosed to the media by the India Cine Appreciation
Foundation chairman Kannan and vice-chairman
S.Ve Sekar.
