Although RGV started
his career with a Telugu film, Siva, he
rooted himself in Bollywood making a successful
career with numerous Hindi films. His latest
film Rakta Charitra is a political thriller
set in the hinterlands of Andhra Pradesh.
RGV seems to be on a comeback mode as far
as Telugu movies are concerned and has announced
his next direct Telugu project recently.
Titled Kadha-Screenplay-Darsakatvam: Appalaraju,
the movie went on floors recently with Sridevi,
Boney Kapoor and actor Nagarjuna wishing
him well at the film's 'muhurtam' ceremony.
The movie will have Telugu comedian Sunil
in the lead role and will break RGV's 10
year old hiatus in Telugu films. His last
film was Prema Katha, released a decade
earlier.
