Kamal Haasan recently
said he is happy that noted author Neela
Padmanabhan’s celebrated novel Thalaimuraigal
is soon to be made into a film. The film
has been titled Magizhchi.
The actor said that he always welcomed
acclaimed novels being made in to movies
and Magizhchi will be one among them.
He added that meaningful cinema can be
made only if there is a right mixture
of films and literature.
The film will be directed by Gauthaman,
who also plays the lead role. Others included
in the star cast are director Seeman,
Prakash Raj, Anjali and Karthika.
