Popular film producer
Abirami Ramanathan, who is also the President
of the Tamil Nadu Theatres Association,
is celebrating his 63rd birthday today (August
26th 2010) by distributing 25-lakh rupees
worth of social welfare plans.
A native of Poolankurichi in Sivagangai
district, Abirami Ramanathan has donated
150 street lamps that will burn on solar
energy. The total cost of this project
is 21 lakhs.
He also donated 4.60 lakhs to the Chennai
Central Rotary Club and this amount will
be utilized towards polio eradication.
Apart from this, he also donated clothes,
sweets and stationary items to about 75
children belonging to an institution called
Aruvi.

Kalaipuli S Dhanu, H Murali, Subash Chandra

and were present during this cash distribution.
