Vinodhan has reportedly registered the
title Vaanam at the Film and Television
Producers Guild and is working on this project.
Without knowing this, STR has announced
that his next film will be titled Vaanam.
According to the standard guidelines, a
production house must either register the
title of their film at the Film Chamber,
the Producers’ Council or the Film and Television
Producers Guild.
However, STR’s Vaanam team had not registered
their title till date and hence was not
aware that the name is already in use. There
is a speculation that STR and team may consider
a name change or settle the issue amicably
with Vinodhan.
