Shankar always manages to be in the news.
This time, it is not for his upcoming magnum
opus Endhiran. Shankar, we all know, is
going to direct the Tamil and Telugu versions
of the remake of the Hindi blockbuster 3
Idiots. While there are so many speculations
about finalizing the cast, it is only confirmed,
as of now, that Ilaya Thalapathi Vijay is
donning Aamir Khan's role in the Tamil version.
With Madhavan and STR out of the cast, Shankar
is scouting for actors who best suit the
other two roles.
Now, we have confirmed information from
sources that Harris Jeyaraj is going to
score the music for both Tamil and Telugu
versions. Harris had earlier worked with
Shankar in the Tamil super hit Anniyan.

movie as well.
