Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan and Madhur Bhandarkar
will enliven the spirits of Chennaites with
their presence in the 13th Gollapudi Srinivas
Memorial awards function. The troika will
be the chief guests of the award ceremony
while Divya Spandana will compere the show.
Vidya Balan, who hails from Kerala, made
a name for herself in Bollywood with stirring
performances in Parineeta, Guru and Paa.
The actress was seen in Chennai after a
long time on Saturday when she walked the
red carpet as a special guest in the 57th
Filmfare awards.
Gollapudi Srinivas Memorial Award recognises
the talent of the Best Directorial Debut.
This year, the award is to be presented
to Amit Rai for his directorial debut "Road
to Sangam", which has been critically
acclaimed all over. Aamir Khan received
the prestigious award, in 2008, for his
directorial debut "Taare Zameen Par".
