Prakash Raj has said that he decided to
procure the Tamil remake rights of Happy
Days when he heard a song set to tune by
Mickey J Meyer in that film. The actor-producer
was traveling in a car when he heard the
song on the car stereo and immediately enquired
the driver about the film.
Since Happy Days had not yet been released
at that time, Prakash Raj saw the movie’s
rushes in a lab and decided to procure its
rights. He adds that he knew that it would
be a mega hit and his calculation never
went wrong. So, that is how he got the remake
rights to make Inidhu Inidhu, which he is
producing.
When reporters wanted to know why he did
not star in it, Prakash Raj said that Inidhu
Inidhu is a movie full of youngsters and
he has no place in it.
