Thillalangadi gets underway

The remake of the Telugu blockbuster Kick, titled Thillalangadi in Tamil, will go on floors this Wednesday (19th August, 2009). The inaugural pooja and shooting will commence on the same day at 9:30 am at AVM Studio.

Thillalangadi has Jayam Ravi in the lead and Tamanna plays his onscreen pair. Shaam, who created a rage in the Telugu film industry with his powerful performance as a police officer, will play the same role in Tamil. Adding to the comedy quotient would be Vadivelu and Santhanam.

While Jayam Raja adorns the director’s chair, the film will be produced by his father Editor Mohan.
