Surya and Arya join hands

Give Life is organizing a Chennai marathon in which actors including Surya and Arya will be participating. The marathon is scheduled to be held on Sunday (31st August, 2008) in three phases.

For the first phase, which is scheduled to begin at 6:30 am from the Secretariat, about 2,500 people

have registered so far. This marathon would cover about 21.09 kms. The second phase, which would begin at 7:30 am, will have a number of stars participating. This marathon would cover an area of about 7 kms starting from the Island Grounds entrance. About 25,000 people are expected to participate in this marathon for which registrations are not required. There is yet another marathon for people aged above 50 years. This scheduled to start at 8:30 am and cover a distance of 3 km.
