Several
barbers gathered around P.Vasu’s
house, saying Kuselan makes fun of their
profession. Earlier when the Barber’s
Association made their intentions to
protest clear to the police, they were
given permission only to make silent
protest. But the barbers gathered around
director P. Vasu’s house and began
shouting slogans. Since the protesters
had
gone beyond what the police had given them
permission to do, they were arrested and
held in a nearby hall.
