Vinay’s déjà vu

This Friday is an important day in Vinay’s life. The actor shot to limelight after his debut venture Unnale Unnale was well received at the box office. The film was directed by late director Jeeva. Sadly, the director did not live to see Unnale Unnale’s success, as he was in Russia to film Dhaam Dhoom, where he suffered a massive heart stroke to which he succumbed.

Nearly a year after the release of Unnale Unnale, it is sheer coincidence that Vinay’s Jayam Kondaan and Jeeva’s Dhaam Dhoom are to hit the silver screens on the same day (August 29th). In a recent interview, the actor had rued that he was slightly disappointed that Jeeva did not offer him Dhaam Dhoom but would pray for its success.
