Chiranjeevi in troubled waters

Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi floated a new political party amidst lakhs of fans in Tirupathi on August 26th. The actor named his party Praja Rajiyam meaning people’s party. But the trouble started for the actor when he petitioned to register the party at the Election Commission.

According to the Election

Commission, a person from Cuddapah had already petitioned to register a party with the same name four months ago and they have sent a reply to him. However, Chiranjeevi’s petition is also under consideration, reports reliable sources. It would be interesting to see if Chiru would get the name of his choice. If so, then it would be his first victory in politics!
