Ravi
Jayam Ravi, currently busy with Peraanmai,
has signed the dotted lines to star in a
venture that is to be produced by Jhabak.
The producer has films like Pandi to his
credit. Director Bhoopathy Pandian's assistant
Durai will wield the megaphone for this
venture.
Madhavan
Thangar Bachchan is slated to direct a
film for Ayngaran International. He has
reportedly narrated a story to Madhavan.
Women Directors
Mani Ratnam's assistant Sada is all set
to direct a film with Srikanth in the lead.
Likewise, V. Priya's assistant Nandini has
signed up Anjathe fame Ajmal for her venture.
Jayamalini and Namitha
Jayamalini, the yesteryear glam doll, played
the lead role in Vittalacharya's Jaganmohini.
This film is being remade with Namitha in
Jayamalini's role. Interestingly, Jayamalini
has been signed up to play Namitha's mom
in the remake version.
