Navya parts ways with the director

Navya Nair, who has been banking on the sole Tamil film Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, is out of the film. Sources close to the team say that there were some misunderstanding between the film’s director Meera Kathiravan and Navya and this led to the heroine’s exit. Jai, the film’s hero, will now pair up with another beauty

from the God’s own land but the team is keeping it a top secret at the moment.

Aval Peyar Thamizharasi, touted to be a woman-centric film, is expected to commence sometime next week. The director, Meera Kathiravan, worked as an assistant to noted filmmaker Balu Mahendra. Wielding the camera for Aval Peyar Thamizharasi will be P.G. Muthiah and Vijay Anthony will score the music. The film is produced by Moserbaer.
