This new-fangled title is said to have its origins in the thought process of wanting to see the film from the beginning after it gets over due to its innovative screen play. Director Krishna has impressive credentials of being associated with P C Sreeram as a cameraman, with Mani Ratnam as an assistant director

and with Santosh Sivan in numerous ad films.

Krishna has tried something new in Mudhal Mudhal Mudhal Varai. He has brought in one hundred newcomers in the film and considers it as a completely new experience of working with them. He is also proud about the fact that Mani Ratnam was so impressed with the film that he hugged him and showered plaudits on him though he does not want to use this for advertising his film. He is very confident that M3 V would be talked about for a long time to come.
