Gautham Menon, who’s Ek Deewana Tha, a remake of Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya failed to impress the Bollywood mass, is now very careful in choosing the story he wish to do in Hindi. The director who is busy with Neethane En Ponvasantham earlier planned to release it in three languages - Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. But now has dropped the idea of doing it in Hindi. He has said that he is going to observe how the Tamil and Telugu audience receive it before deciding on the idea of making it in Hindi.
Neethane En Ponvasantham that stars Jiiva in the lead role will have Nani leading in its Telugu version. Samantha plays the lead lady in both the languages. The Tamil version will also feature Santhanam, Anupama Kumar and Ravi Raghavendra in supporting roles. Isaignani Ilayaraja has composed the music for the film. MS Prabhu cranks the camera and Anthony is doing the editing.
