Siddharth, while talking to the journos, said that he was happy to be given the chance to clarify certain misconceptions about him. Apparently, many within the Tamil industry have the wrong notion that he will work only in big projects with established directors. Siddharth, however, says that it is completely untrue and if one were to check out the kind of films he has done in Telugu, it can be deciphered that he has worked with a lot of debutant directors. He feels that the script alone matters and not the size or scale of the project.
Another false notion is that he does not care to do action films. Siddharth has been given the lover boy image which he says is difficult to shake off because of his boyish looks and build. Only romantic scripts come his way but if someone were to give him the chance to do a full-fledged action film with a proper script to back it up, he’ll grab it with both hands like the recent fantasy flick in Telugu, Anaganaga O Dheerudu.
The actor also clarified that language is not a barrier and he is willing to work in Tamil, Telugu, or Hindi if the role is good.
