The
director of Paiyaa, Lingusamy is basking in
glory over the astounding success of the film.
The proud director says that he expected 100
percent success but he was baffled by the 200
percent success!
Lingusamy says that he wanted to make a film
that will bring the audiences that liked Run
and Anandam, though both these films belonged
to different genres. And the outcome is Paiyaa
for all to see.
He also adds that it is interesting to note
that Paiyaa’s collection will surpass
that of Sivaji, Dasavatharam and Vettaikaran
in different capacities.
According to the director, the audiences were
eager to see a decent and stylish film in theatres
rather than dirt and filth. This is the reason
Paiyaa was made, he adds. |
