Films Circuit had procured the rights to remake
the blockbuster Hindi film 3 Idiots in Tamil.
The production house has been scouting for three
actors and an actress to play the all-important
roles in this film.
Popular Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and
Kareena Kapoor were approached to play the female
lead in the Tamil version. However, both these
ladies have refused the offer citing their busy
schedule in Bollywood. The production house
is now looking at other avenues to rope in a
suitable leading lady.
It is worth a mention here that Aamir Khan,
Madhavan and Kareena Kapoor starred in the original
version.
