Noted
percussionist Sivamani will launch the Saptaswara
Academy of Music (SAM) on April 1st, 2010. SAM
is an initiative of Saptaswara Musicals that
has been selling musical instruments for over
35 years.
A press release states that SAM will conduct
classes in western musical instruments such
as guitar, piano, drums, and wind instruments
such as saxophone, western flute, clarinet and
trumpet. The class rooms are sound proofed and
air-conditioned.
The faculty includes pianist Phillips Victor
and guitarist Kartik. Several noted singers
and musicians will be a part of the guest faculty
team. The summer crash courses on guitar and
keyboards will also be conducted. |
