career. His role in Iruvar, inspired
from the real life of the current
Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M.
Karunanidhi won him the National
award. Prakash Raj has won 18 State
Awards and 3 National awards for
his electrifying performances in
various films.
The actor recently revealed that
he has an offer to play the LTTE
Chief Velupillai Prabhakaran in
a film. The actor disclosed that
he would be spontaneous in his role
and will not do any groundwork for
it. He said: “I will not do
any homework or prepare for this
role in detail as I think spontaneity
will provide better results than
anything.” However, when the
media quizzed about the producer
or director of the film, the actor
