Pazhassi Raja introduced

The 25-crore budget Malayalam film Pazhassi Raja, has megastar Mammootty and Sarath Kumar in prominent roles. The film will also be made in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and English, said its director Hariharan during a function that was organized to introduce Pazhassi Raja. Kanika plays the on screen pair of Mammootty while Sarath Kumar’s role does not require a partner, he added. Pazhassi Raja will also feature many foreign actors from Australia, France and United Kingdom.

Speaking to the mediapersons, Hariharan clarified that as per the Indian Independence History, written by the British, Pazhassi Raja started fighting for freedom from 1797 to 1802.

Oscar Winner Resul Pookutty is incharge of the sound, maestro Illayaraja has scored the music, and the film is produced by Gokulam Gopalan.
