Director-actor
Seeman, who has been arrested for his
derogatory speeches that affects the
sovereignty of India, has been languishing
in jail for quite some months now.
In a recent judgment, on whether Seeman
can be tried under the National Security
Act, it was held by the court that his
speech does not invoke the Act. However,
this judgment is only applicable to
the case filed in Tirunelveli, where
Seeman was arrested for his speech at
a students’ rally. |
