Rahman’s first stage show after
winning the Oscar Award happens to be
for a good cause. The ace musician will
take up his music baton to collect money
for the treatment of children afflicted
with the AIDS disease. The money collected
will go to Keraliam, the organization
that works for AIDS affected children
in Kerala. The organizers say that Rahman
is doing the show free of cost.
The ticket sales for this event was
kick started
yesterday
by actor Suresh Gopi and the first ticket
was received by NIMS director Faizal
Khan. The show will take place on May
3rd at the Jawarharlal Stadium in Kozhikode.
About 108 musicians and singers are
participating in this event.
