How did Kaaraikudi replace Colombia?

Ravivarman’s Moscowin Kaveri has been in the making for quite a while now. Produced by Aascar Film’s the movie will have newcomers Harshvardhan, Rahul, Raveendran and Samantha. The film deals basically with relationships and how our fast life has changed our approach towards them. Nowadays everything is fast tracked, including love; the film talks about these issues. It also dwells on the point that in life, only successes are remembered, but it is only for love that failures and losses are recalled.

Ravivarman, basically being a cinematographer naturally wanted his film to be a visual treat for the audience and hence wanted to shoot his films in foreign locations like Colombia. However, the shoots did not work out as planned and he had to settle for locations within Tamil Nadu like Thiruvarur, Kaaraikudi and Pondicherry.

Ravivarman said that beautiful frames alone do not make a good film and so he was ready to settle for less exotic locales. He has told a good story with a high emotional content and good visuals will also be a part of the film.
