Murattu Singam is a period film that
is set in the 18th century. It is of
the comedy adventure genre, told in
a way children would love. Being a cowboy
film, its director Chimbu Devan had
constructed a village set in Kerala,
which was erected by art director Muthuraj.
Reportedly, this village set is based
on the Hollywood style and over 100
people are working day in and day out
to complete it. IMS will be shot in
Thenkasi, Thada, and Madyapradesh apart
from Kerala. |

Ragava Lawrence plays the lead and sharing
screen space with him will be Padmapriya,
Lashmi Rai and Sandhya. Tollywood villain
Sai Kumar, Nazzar, Manorama, M.S. Baskar,
Ramesh Kanna, Vaiyapuri, Mouli and Delhi
Ganesh also star in important roles.
Music is by G.V Prakash, lyrics have
been penned by Vairamuthu, and editing
is by Raja Mohamad. Western Comics,
a popular name in the comics industry,
is stepping into the movie circuit with
