stylish
in the formal suits; it would not be
wrong to say that he looks his best
when in fully formal attire. This time
too, he carries it off with panache.
But the clinching factor of this new
look should be his hair style. Ajith
is not known to fiddle around with his
hair too much, but now he has tried
something that is definitely a first
in Tamil cinema. Though one does not
get a full view of it from the only
still that has been released, there
is a definite spike at the centre. Does
it look familiar? Where have you seen
it before? Certainly not in any Tamil
movie! Well, if you watch football,
then you should have seen it on David
Beckham a few years back, he was the
one to make it a trend in many parts
of the world. And, if like the average
Indian, your first and only love is
cricket, then you might be able to trace
back this style to Mr. K.P. (Kevin Pietersen).
Ajith now brings something similar onto
our screens. It sure does look good.
Then, you would have noticed those goggles.
They have been around for more than
two decades now, still very much a style
statement. Though it is used only very
sparingly these days, it is still as
good as it was when it was first seen.
Ajith, one daresay, makes it look even
better.
Let’s hope the movie is as good
as the style quotient of its opening
still. As they say, ‘well begun
is half done’. And, the film formally
takes off tomorrow with the official
pooja at the Sivaji family residence.
