Vinay caught up in a freak accident

Vinay is currently working in Modhi Vilayadu, directed by Saran. The shooting of Modhi Vilayadu was on at the deserts near Dubai when Vinay was caught up in an unfortunate accident. Sources close to the Modhi Vilayadu team say that the crew was filming a scene in which Vinay was required to drive a car on the desert sands.

Unfortunately, a heavy wind blew up the car and Vinay was buried into the sands. The team rushed

immediately to dig him out but the actor was unconscious. He was given first aid and rushed to the hospital where the doctors said that the sand particles have entered his mouth and nose and blocked his breathing. However, after thorough examination and treatment Vinay is said to be out of danger. The shooting of Modhi Vilayadu has been cancelled following this.
