Comedian’s new avatar

Nothing succeeds like success. The relatively good run enjoyed by Dindugul Sarathi in theaters has spurred Karunas to take up another lead role. The actor seems to be confident of his abilities as a lead actor to pull off another success. Want proof of his confidence. Then take this, he will be producing the movie too. Now would he do that if he wasn’t 100% sure?

Story and screenplay for the film will be handled by

Ramnath, the man behind all of Karunas’ funny scenes. He has been handling the comedy track of Karunas for quite a while and now gets the opportunity to make a complete film with him in the lead. In addition to this, Ramnath will also be directing the film. Titled Ambasamuthiram, the music for the film will be scored by Karunas himself. This will be the second film for which Karunas has turned composer after the Lawrence starrer Rajathi Raja.
