Vijay shines in his new role

Ilaya Thalapathi really seems to be enjoying his new role as the brand ambassador of the Chennai Superkings. The team has been having a great run and there is no better reason to celebrate a victory. After the Superkings’ victory over the Knight Riders on Saturday there was a special ‘click’ moment that appeared in the next day’s

newspapers. Vijay standing along with the team that was (as mentioned in the newspaper) ‘savoring the victory’. Now, for one who really doesn’t know Vijay (not you or me, maybe someone in North India or the North East) might have easily though that this guy was a part of the team, a playing member. Dressed in the yellow jersey and standing between Jacob Oram, Dhoni and Mathew Hayden, Vijay looked every inch a Chennai Superking. He is certainly playing his role of the team’s brand ambassador to perfection and if the good days continue the Chennai Superkings will be the Kings of 20-20. All the best.
