Shankar’s find finds a place

Kadhal directed by Balaji Shakthivel was a trendsetter of its own kind. The film helped Bharath get noticed as a talented actor and his career graph soared systematically after this movie. Director Shankar’s S Pictures who produced Kadhal began to be known as a production house which churns out quality films and directors from its fold.

After Kadhal, Balaji Shakthivel’s next venture was Kalloori which was again produced by Shankar and the film received good reviews. This time around, a new talent from rural Tamil Nadu was introduced who goes by the name Akhil. His performance in Kalloori was noteworthy and he has got his next break in a film titled Valmiki to be directed by Anantha Narayanan where his screen partner would be Meera Nandu from Kerala. This film will have lilting music from Ilayaraja.
