Lingusamy’s source of creativity revealed!

Sathyam cinemas played host to the audio release of Kathi Kappal today starring debutant Anu, directed by Dinesh Selvaraj. Dinesh, who is an erstwhile assistant director of Mani Ratnam, is the son of Selvaraj who is behind the story and dialogues of legendary movies Annakili and Kizhakke Pogum Rayil. Selvaraj was also associated with Bharathiraja in many of his successful movies.

Mani Ratnam released the first copy of the album that was received by director Lingusamy. Director Bharathiraja also attended the event. Addressing the gathering, Lingusamy lauded Selvaraj for his achievements as a story/scriptwriter and mentioned that Selvaraj is a part of his creative wing in all his recent movies.

Kathi Kappal will have Anu and Poornitha playing the lead roles and is expected to the hit the screens for summer 2008.
