Suresh Gopi disregards dress code

Suresh Gopi is the latest actor embroiled in a new controversy. Presently donning the role of a police officer in a Malayalam film Ayudham, he was invited by the Kerala police to inaugurate a friends club to develop good relations between the police and the public. What should have been a noble affair turned into an ugly incident – all because of the dress code.

The actor, apparently from the shooting spot, attired in a police uniform, rushed to the venue to inaugurate the club. Though the police officials there did not pay much attention to it, an alert citizen promptly filed a petition at the magistrate court stating that it is an offence as per the Kerala Police Act. Now, that’s another actor waiting for the court’s verdict.
