Well, the real reason is finally out. According
to Venkat Prabhu, both Shruti and Gauthami
were impressed with the storyline but felt
that it would not be an apt launch pad for
the former, as too many characters were
involved. However, both the actresses have
expressed their desire to star in his subsequent
venture if it suited them. In tinsel town,
you get to pick and choose if you have a
star-parent!
