A 24-hour film versus 12-hour film

Tamil films, of late, have undergone a sea change with many bright youngsters trying to experiment boldly with new concepts. Venkat Prabhu gave us Chennai 28, which had no single hero but the movie revolved around a host of actors. The very same director is now working on another unconventional film, Saroja. This film is all about the events that

unfold in the life a person in one single day. To make it realistic all the characters in Saroja will be seen sporting the same costumes throughout the film.

Another film similar to this is Kudiyarasu. If Saroja is based on a single day, the story of Kudiyarasu is set within 12 hours. Directed by Sabir Hussain, Kudiyarasu is about a journalist, played by Vignesh.
