‘JIIVA IS LIKE AMITABH BACHCHAN, AAMIR KHAN’

Until dawn, Jiiva was going through sleepless night shooting for Shankar’s Nanban and he rushed up to Sathyam Cinemas for the audio launch of Vandhan Vendran refreshing himself with a green tea. However, he reached the venue at the right time and so were the other celebrities and special invitees.

The event commenced with the screening of three songs – ‘Anjana’, ‘Kanchana Mala’ and ‘Mudivilla Mazhaiyodu’ followed by the teasers that carried tagline: 3 Adamant Characters, One Incident that will change their lives forever.

It was ample evidence that Kannan has something interesting to deliver in Vandhan Vendran.

Jiiva – Producers’ Delight, Taapsee – Boon to Producers

Producer K.S. Srinivasan of Vasan Visual Ventures was in praise for his entire team for their earnest work. He started off appreciating Jiiva saying, “An actor must be a directors’ delight. Well, Jiiva doesn’t confine to this arena, but proves to be producers’ delight as well. He is so humble and always concerned about producers’ well being. Punctuality, discipline and dedication have been the key factors for his success. Taapsee is a boon to producers for her accommodating nature. While most of the actresses get accompanied by a crew and demand for flight tickets and hotel rooms, Taapsee travels across different locations alone and we are privileged to have her as a part of this film. Kannan is keen on sticking to the plans and always lives up to our expectations.”

What is the similarity between Superstar Rajnikanth and K.S. Srinivasan?

‘Prayers from all ends made Superstar Rajnikanth bounce back to normal condition. The same reason has been keeping Srinivasan successful as he earns the good wishes of everyone’ uttered Pyramid Natarajan, who shares special bonding with Srinivasan and his father.

Thiruvalluvar’s prophecy on Ilayathalapathy, Jiiva and Jeyam Ravi

Pyramid Natarajan didn’t miss to render a famous Thirukural - Magan-thanthaikku Atrum Uthavi Ivan-thanthai ennotran kollenum sol, Thanthai maganukkatrum nandri avaiyathu munthi erupe seyal. He said so referring to the successful father-son duo: S.A. Chandrasekhar-Vijay, R.B. Choudhery-Jiiva, Editor Mohan- Raja & Ravi.

‘SAC, R.B. Choudhery and Editor Mohan supported their sons to come up well in film industry and today their sons are making their dads proud through their accomplishments. Of course, Thiruvalluvar had made predictions on them before 2000 years itself’ totted up Natarajan.

Sometimes, good things and good friends arrive late in life and I have Jiiva-Santhanam as my close pals now’ said Nandha.

‘We are like fruits. Directors must extract juice’

It’s a directors’ job to get the best out of us’ started off Thaman referring music directors as ‘Fruits’ and requested filmmakers to extract the juice. A comical reference made by Rajesh while recollecting the dialogue of Jiiva ‘Oru Quarter Sollaen Machi’ in Siva Manasula Sakthi. ‘Yes, Jiiva ordered for ¼ in SMS, then ½ in Ko and is sure to have a ‘Full’ with Vandhan Vendran.

Jiiva is like Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan

Bollywood stars love to go by the scripts and they never value the importance of ‘Heroism’. We have witnessed it very much with A-league actors Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, who are ready to die uncaring about the image they have amidst their fans. ‘They are so religious in doing justice to their roles and so does Jiiva here. He has done a great job and the film is sure to keep him on top.

Taapsee is more beautiful than Preity Zinta

While most of the celebrities had more words to speak about the film and its crew, Taapsee and Jiiva kept themselves on limits thanking the producers for giving them a good opportunity. Jiiva brought up the good qualities of Kannan saying that he has the essence of Mani sir’s school and his narrative structure is extraordinary. ‘Nandha has now joined our friends’ gang and we are happy to have him as our friend’ ended up Jiiva.
