New year celebrations on 31 Dec 2010 at Cosmopolitan
Club, Chennai saw actor Vadivelu adorn the stage with
his versatile performance and lively participation.
Though there was an interesting sequence of celebrities
adding glitz to give a rousing welcome to 2011, it
was surprising to see the response from the audience,
especially the tiny tots, when Vadivelu made an entrance
into the venue. His name just spelt magic there.
From the minute he entered the venue till he left,
all the children present there were flocking him on
the dais. He was literally surrounded by an ocean
of children. When he sang 'pudhiya vaanam pudhiya
bhoomi', children danced exalted to the brim. There
were pleasant comments floating in the air that next
to super star Rajini, no doubts that Vadivelu is the
reigning star among children and tops the chart as
the most successful comedian in recent years. Vadivelu's
comedy has conquered hearts right from children to
adults.
