‘I don’t have a big job of promoting
Rowthiram as my son Jiiva’s previous film
Ko will help for the film’s success’
said Super Good Films R.B. Choudhery as he expressed
his happiness for being addressed as ‘Jiiva’s
father’. The audio launch of Rowthiram had
celebrities from Tamil film industry thronging Hotel
Green Park in Chennai.
Every celebrity present at the occasion had extended
their showers of appreciations for the team of newcomers
– Director Gokul, Cinematographer Shanmugha
Sundaram and music director Prakash Nikki.
For sentiment’s sake, R.B Choudhery called
upon K.S. Ravikumar to introduce these newcomers,
who have done a fabulous job with their respective
tasks. Director Vikraman added strong point to his
speech saying, “Jiiva started off his career
acting in soft roles. But his career took an ultimate
change after he donned ‘Rowthiram’ filled
roles (he meant action packed characters) in Ram,
Katradhu Tamizh and E. I am sure Rowthiram will
take Jiiva to greater heights”.
K.S. Ravikumar shocked everyone on the dais and
special invitees by saying that he couldn’t
avoid watching Ko in pirated video. ‘We cannot
avoid the technological advancement and we need
to go along with it. I have been requesting the
Producers Council to take essential steps to bring
Home Videos into action, but my requests haven’t
been answered till now.’
Kalaipuli S Thanu, floored by the stunning visuals
of songs and teasers acclaimed that Rowthiram will
be another Kaakha Kaakha. Lingusamy and Arya were
the late arrivals for the event, but turned spotlights
on with their captivating speech. The director ennobled
Jiiva that he is going Suriya’s way as his
selection of scripts is outstanding. He also said
Rowthiram will have the same impact that Polladhavan
had made a few years back.
Arya was the showstopper for his humorous speech
of expressing his interest to speak about Shriya.
The hilarious moment didn’t end there as he
persistently kept pulling Jiiva’s legs passing
comments with his funny gestures when Jeyam Ravi
reminded him that Jiiva has Rowthiram in his eyes.
‘Jiiva is like my family as we share a good
bonding. This is the reason why I don’t miss
any of his events’ added Jeyam Ravi, who was
happy about Jiiva’s growth.
‘Whenever I used to approach Jiiva for a cameo
role in Boss Engira Baskaran, he would excitedly
speak about Rowthiram and its crew’ said Rajesh,
who didn’t miss to mention that every filmmaker
and assistant director want to work with Jiiva,
which is a rare privilege that any actor can aspire
for.
Having worked Jiiva in Vandhan Vendran, director
Kannan revealed that the only reason behind Jiiva’s
success is his hard work. Shriya Charan had few
words to speak about the film as she uttered, 'the
film will leave your eyes in tears and happiness
in your faces'.
Jiiva mentioned that Rowthiram is so close to his
heart and director Gokul is highly talented. 'So
far I have never had such an introduction for my
films and this one is really special' concluded
Jiiva.
Three songs and couple of teasers were screened
for the special invitees.
