The audio launch of Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu was one of the most well attended events in recent times. The event happened at Kamala Theatre and it saw an interesting blend of actors and directors coming together. Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu stars ‘Jithan’ Ramesh and is directed by Thirumalai Kishore. Jiiva and ‘Jithan’ Ramesh’s father and popular producer RB Choudhery has produced this film under his Super Good Films banner. The music has been scored by Chakri, a very popular music director in Tollywood. He has made his debut into Tamil turf with this film.

RB Choudhery is known for producing films which is directed by debutants and many such films have become big hit. The veteran producer has introduced 34 directors until now and 33 directors among them had attended this audio launch. KS Ravikumar was the show stealer at the event which also saw young and happening actors Bharath, Vishal, Prasanna, Shantanoo, Jai, Arya, Jiiva, Sibiraj and Vikranth. The film lead ‘Jithan’ Ramesh was also present.

When Jiiva spoke he confessed that he is a bit jealous because he has never had such a grand and well attended audio launch for any of the films which he had acted. He also went on to say that he has watched the movie and that it was very good. He clarified that he is not vouching for the film because the hero is his brother but because he honestly feels so. He said that everyone present in the dais were like brothers to him. He finally mentioned that the film will stand out for its climax.

Director SA Chandrasekhar said that many times he had approached producer RB Choudhery to produce a movie for him but the producer never has, for he sticks to giving new directors a chance than support the well established directors. SAC says that this is a very commendable aspect which gets the producer immense respect. He also mentioned that his son ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay’s career took the right turn after he acted in a movie produced by RB Choudhery.

Anbalaya Prabhakaran said that if Rajinikanth is the Superstar among actors then RB Choudhery is the Superstar among producers. Young actor Shantanoo Bhagyaraj said that he and his actor friends saw the film together and that they were talking, having fun and watching the film but the last twenty minutes there was pin drop silence for the climax had them all in rapt attention.

Arya said, “Everyone has been saying that Ramesh has danced well in this film. I am surprised that you all know this only now. Ramesh has always been a great dancer. When we were practicing for a Nadigar Sangam performance, Ramesh was standing behind and dancing but he was doing great and much better than us. I was thinking if I let him in the front to dance no one will even notice anyone else. He is that great a dancer. “

The best part of the audio launch was to see all the young actors mingling with each other like old friends happily laughing, talking and having all the fun in the world. It was clear that their competition is only on screen and it is all friendship off screen.

A few songs were played and all of them were good. The song Enaku Oru Devadhai, a melody, was the best among the lot and certainly will capture the listeners’ heart. The movie’s trailer was played too and it looked like a well made film. The interesting trailer seems to guarantee that Pillaiyar Theru Kadaisi Veedu will be a good film.
