Sun Pictures organized an ‘Isai Vizha’ for Prabhu Deva’s Engeyum Kadhal and it was a smash hit. Prabhu Deva, Jayam Ravi, Harris Jayaraj, Hansika Motwani, Nirav Shah, Naresh Iyer, Chinmayee, Harish Raghavendra, Haricharan, and Mahathi were among those present. All the songs were performed on stage and were greatly enjoyed by all present.

Prabhu Deva, looking cool in a crisp white shirt, said that the movie would not have been possible without Harris Jayaraj as music is an essential component of Engeyum Kadhal which has eight songs. In fact, the climax itself is going to be a song, shot uniquely. The terrific composer claims Prabhu Deva is the USP of his film. He also commended Jayam Ravi for the amount of effort he put in and said he was lucky to have worked with him. The director also thanked Kalpathi S Aghoram and Sun Pictures for their unstinting support.

Harris Jayaraj was the star of the evening as his music was in the spotlight. He said that Prabhu Deva narrated the story to him in ten minutes and concluded by saying that the songs would comprise the rest of the film. It was a burden he was happy to bear. Harris Jayaraj said that Engeyum Kadhal has come out very well and people will think that a Hollywood director has made this film.

Jayam Ravi in his speech conveyed his gratitude to Prabhu Deva and Harris Jayaraj and said that Engeyum Kadhal was a great opportunity for him. As a child, he grew up admiring Prabhu Deva’s dance and acting and said it was a dream come true to work under his guidance. He was full of praise for Harris Jayaraj and predicted that people will be listening to the music of Engeyum Kadhal everyday for the next twenty years as it was simply too good.

It is easy to see why Hansika is the hottest flavor of the season – she is cute and charming. The up and coming actress said that she was happy to have worked with Prabhu deva, Harris Jayaraj, and Jayam Ravi and it had been a fun experience.

Prabhu Deva, Jayam Ravi and Hansika delighted the onlookers by grooving to some of the songs. Harris Jayaraj surprised everyone by shaking a leg as well and everyone gave him a huge round of applause. The music was well received as the album has great balance and some truly amazing songs. Nangai was everybody’s favorite track and it is sure to be a chartbuster.

Engeyum Kadhal is a romantic musical. Prabhu Deva brings his typical deft touches to this project. Jayam Ravi has lost weight for this role and spruced up his image as in a refreshing twist the heroine will be chasing him. Cinematography is by Nirav Shah and the film has been shot in some beautiful locations in France, Greece and New Zealand. It is a youthful, fresh film and promises to be a treat to watch.
