Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday reportedly announced the alliance with the Congress and said that his party would have won over 250 seats on its own. However, he added, with the alliance, the party would win over 300 seats. Launching an attack on the BJP-led Centre over its demonetisation policy, he said that the move adversely affected the common man.
