Kerala Congress leader MM Hassan on Tuesday claimed that women must not enter temple, mosque or church during menstruation as it makes their body impure. Hassan said, "there is a scientific reason behind the instruction that woman shouldn't enter during this period. It should not be given other interpretations.” He also said menstruating Muslim women do not observe fast during Ramzan.
