The spiritual head of the Basava Dharma Peetha, Maate Mahadevi, in reaction to the mass molestation incidents in Bengaluru, claimed that men wouldn’t be attracted if women cover themselves from head to toe. Further, she also claimed that women shouldn't step out of their houses after 12 AM and that such incidents happen only in cities like Bengaluru.
