According to reports, a woman in Haryana was awarded 7-year jail term by a local court for filing a false gang rape case against her husband and family members. Reportedly, the woman claimed that she was forced to marry her rapist and was repeatedly raped by him and her brothers-in-law. However, the court acquitted the accused in 2015 and found her guilty of deliberately giving false evidence.
