Badri Nath Singh, the father of Nirbhaya said that he will sleep peacefully after the Supreme Court’s verdict on Friday. "I will sleep peacefully tonight. Our daughter will now rest in peace too. She would have turned 28 on May 10 if she had lived. Today's verdict is a gift for her", Singh said after the judgment. Notably, the SC upheld the death sentence awarded to four convicts in the case.
