Facebook-owned messaging app Whatsapp is expected to stop working for the Windows 7.1 smartphones by June 30, 2017, with its upcoming version 2.17.86. According to reports, Whatsapp made this announcement in an official blog, which also added that the company would stop supporting older mobile devices with BlackBerry 10, Nokia S40 and Symbian S60, Android 2.1 and 2.2, and iPhone 3GS/iOS 6 operating systems.
