India’s wealthiest man and the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mukesh Ambani, has reportedly declared his annual salary at Rs 15 crore and did not take stock options that were given to other board directors. According to reports, the 60-year-old business magnate kept his salary, perquisites and allowances, and commission unchanged since 2008-09, forgoing over Rs 24 crore per annum. Notably, Ambani had voluntarily capped his compensation following a debate over CEO salaries.
