American private equity firm Warburg Pincus has reportedly invested Rs 500 crore in the famous Kerala-based jewellery brand Kalyan Jewellers on Monday. The investment has been made to expand its network in both domestic and overseas market. The company has planned to double its presence to 200 plus showrooms using a combination of equity, debt and internal accruals.
