DMDK chief Vijayakanth has reportedly expressed "regret" to the Press Council of India over his alleged ‘spitting’ incident with journalists in 2015. A case in this regard has reportedly been ‘dismissed’ after the submission of ‘regret statement’. He, in a fit of anger, while responding to some queries, allegedly spat before reporters in December 2015.
